Concours d’art Oratoire

CPF 2013 Concours d’art oratoire information now available!

Le Concours d’art oratoire is a public-speaking event in French. In PEI a Provincial competition is held annually. Competitions are held at the classroom, school or board level before the Provincial Competition. (Poster)

Participating students choose a subject in which they are particularly interested, naturally resulting in a carefully prepared and enthusiastic presentation. The speech may be designed to inform, to convince, or to amuse the audience. The presentation must be the student’s original work and be committed to memory.
Students are judged on voice, quality of language, choice of subject, gesture, and their response to a question from the jury.

Competition Date:  12:30 p.m., April 6, 2013, at UPEI
in Charlottetown

See our Facebook event page for times.

Deadline to enter is March 15, 2013
